The UEFA Conference League semi-finals are in full swing and we'll soon find out which teams will battle it out for the title in the final

The return leg of the Champions League semi-final between Fiorentina and Real Betis was held at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on May 8. Fiorentina had recently suffered a 1-0 defeat to Roma in Serie A. The goal was conceded just before half-time and the team was down to 10 men at the end of the game. However, statistics show that the club is unbeaten in their last 13 home matches in the Conference League.

Real Betis arrived in Florence after a 2-1 win over Espanyol in La Liga. In that game, the team initially conceded a goal in the 28th minute but then levelled the score and scored the winner in stoppage time of the second half. The victory was part of their unbeaten run of five matches in all competitions. The club's recent successes include wins over Girona away and Valladolid at home, as well as a 1-1 draw with Jagiellonia Bialystok in the Conference League.

For Fiorentina, who have reached the Conference League final twice but have never won the trophy, semi-finals are a familiar sight, while for Real Betis this event is particularly significant, as it is the first time they have come so close to the final. Under the guidance of Manuel Pellegrini, the team is showing a confident game without unnecessary noise and is ready to surprise everyone in the last stage of the tournament.

In the previous match, Goossens scored twice for Fiorentina, while Anthony and Eze Abde scored for Betis.
